This painting is on a 13" diameter drum, elk hide over a stained pine frame.
I was playing around with the horse silhoutte that I made for the 'Aquarelle' series that I did, and I decided to use it to make a few 'painted ponies' on drums.

This is wonderful. I adore the earthy tones you used to match the natural colours of the drum itself. The picture is so clear and neatly painted. 
Many of my friends play drums but I would love to have a custom Didgeridoo. One day, I want to purchaise a bare Didge since the ones I have are already painted. A picture of yours would be wonderful on it. Just a shame you live so far away...
